59+ Converter online help

59+ Converter's states

59+ Converter can be in one of the two states

In the connected mode 59+ Converter can communicate with the main log and perform more operations then in disconnected mode. For example you can export current log to ADIF file split 59+ database etc. You will be required to save the current database before launching 59+ Converter from the main log.

If you are in the disconnected mode (when a standalone application is launched from the windows explorer) you would not be able to carry out certain actions such as exporting a 59+ Database to an external file. For this particular operation 59+ Converter should be connected to the database engine of the main log and be connected to the main log.

In any case you should be careful when using 59+ Converter. If you occasionally overwrite a database you would not be able to restore it. We recommend using backup copies of most important databases in 59+ Log.
