Dialog editor

The dialog editor consists of two areas:

Configuration area which consists of a set of
standard windows controls used to create, change, delete, load and save
configurations of the QSO edit dialog
·
Editing area - it is a special type of control
designed to manipulate contents of the dialog – show, hide and replace them

When you first start 59+ Log there is only one edit dialog configuration available – the default
configuration. You can derive new configuration from the default one, save it
and then create other configuration based on (derived from) existing ones. To create new
configuration, follow these steps: 1.
Press the “Add” button
- “Add new configurations” dialog will appear.

Type a name of the new configuration
in the “Configuration” edit box 3.
Select existing configuration
in “Copy settings from” combo box. By doing
that you will derive a new dialog configuration. There will always be
“Default” configuration to derive from in the combo box. As you create
configurations new items will be added. 4.
Press OK

After you have finished
creating new dialog
there will be at least two configurations available in the combo box.
As you switch between
configurations using “Configuration” combo box the contents of the editing
area will change.
The following are the
controls that make the configuration area of the dialog editor:

Configuration combo box -
use it to switch between saved configurations.

Add button - adds new configuration
·
Remove button - removes configuration
·
Rename button - rename currently selected
configuration
·
Set active - makes currently selected
configuration active. That means it will be shown when you first open QSO Edit
dialog.
·
Hide item - this button works together with
the editing area. By pressing the button you will hide currently selected
control in the editing area.

· Show item - shows you “Select item” dialog.
·
OK, Cancel, Apply buttons

To bring the popup menu
click on a control in the editing area and right click with the mouse. The popup
menu will allow you to hide the selected control and place it into the list of
hidden controls. They can be made visible using “Show” button on the
configuration area. To open the dialog

Press Alt+E anytime when QSO edit dialog
is active · Right click on the QSO edit dialog header and select “Launch editor” menu item from the popup menu
