"Grids"
configuration tab
The grid control used
throughout the application was especially developed for 59+ Log. It is highly customizable
and flexible. To configure all parameters related to grid controls
use “Grids” configuration tab of the configuration dialog.
There are four main types
of grids configured in the dialog. They are:

Main grid - main grid of the log
·
Grid tabs - grid tabs are located at the
bottom of the screen and are used in together with the main gird, search engine,
batch updates and serve as data sources for the report engine.

QSO details
·
QSO summary - both QSO details and QSO
summary grids are used in the main window of the log and in roll up dialogs.
Available controls
·
“Grid type” combo box - used to switch grid
types described above
·
“Show notes” check box - turns on and off notes
in the grids. Disabled when configuring QSO details and QSO summary grids.
·
“Set font” button - invokes font dialog used
to change grid fonts
·
“Columns” button - brings up column
configuration dialog. You can set columns displayed in grids. It is disabled
when configuring QSO details and QSO summary grids.
·
“Standard colors” button - shows standard
color configuration dialog.
·
“Special colors” button - invokes special
color configuration dialog.
·
Sample grid control
- the control shows what effects your changes will have on grids in the log.
The following dialogs are
used to configure font, column and colors of the grids:

Fonts configuration dialog - standard
windows font dialog is used to set fonts.
·
Columns configuration dialog - used to
set columns of the main and tab grids.
·
Standard colors configuration dialog - the
dialog provides user interface for colors.
· Special colors configuration dialog - Configures special colors of the grids
