Roll up dialogs

Roll up dialog is a unique Win32 control developed especially for 59+ Log. It is used for displaying QSO data and award summary. The user can move, resize, roll up and roll down the dialogs.

A roll up dialog consists of two grid windows placed in a tab control. They work and look exactly as QSO details grid and QSO Summary grids. To find out more about these grids follow the links:

Roll up dialogs can be used for obtaining comprehensive information about a QSO and accessing the information any time when working with the log.

You can create as many roll up dialogs as you want. Each dialog is attached to a QSO and shows its data. When the QSO is modified changes are reflected in the dialog.

To show a roll up dialog and attach it to a QSO select the QSO in the main grid or in one of the grid tabs and either

·         Select “Show in roll up” menu item from the context menu

·         Press button of the standard tool bar

 

Buttons in the header of a roll up dialog allow you to perform special operations. button can roll up or roll down the dialog. Press button to bring up the context menu:

Arranges a dialog by placing it in the top-left corner of the main grid

Destroys a dialog and detaches it from a QSO

To manage multiple roll up dialogs use the Windows dialog. There you can arrange, roll up and roll down groups of dialogs at a touch of a button.

Information about the number, position and state of dialogs is stored in a configuration file and is read on start-up. You will always see roll up dialogs when you restart the log exactly the same as you saved them in the previous session.
